Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, hosted a workshop on “Industry 4.0: Productivity, Growth, and Competency Development” on June 13th -14th, 2016 at Centara Duangtawan Hotel, Chiang Mai, Thailand. The purposes of this workshop was to enhance awareness of Industry 4.0 for stakeholders, to develop an understanding of its opportunities and challenges, as well as discuss essential IT and mechatronics competency requirements.  The results included a dynamic dialogue among industry, education, and government; hands-on experience of machines that marry the worlds of production and network connectivity; and shared model of IT/mechatronics competencies that drive development and transition.

RAVTE members; Miss Heak Channary and Miss Krorn Kimleang from National Technical Training Institute (NTTI); and Mr.Keat Rayuth from National Polytechnic Institute of Cambodia, participated in this workshop.
